Blake Thomas

Blake was born and raised in Section, Alabama, a small town in the northeast corner of the state. He graduated from Section High School in 2011. During his time in high school, Blake played baseball, football, basketball, and track and field. He was named captain of the football team his junior and senior year.

After graduating high school, Blake received a scholarship to Troy university, where he earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science in 2015. After graduating from Troy, Blake attended physical therapy school at Samford University and was a member of their inaugural class.

Since graduating with his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree in 2018, Blake has undergone extensive training in manual therapy and received his CMPT from the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy in 2020. Through this certification, Blake has developed an expertise in treating complex spinal pain and dysfunction. Blake has also had advanced training in dry needling, blood flow restriction training, and the clinical management of Crossfit athletes.

Blake has a passion for health and wellness and is committed to helping his patients become stronger, more resilient human beings. Blake’s hobbies outside of work include hiking, camping, exercising, reading, and being active in his church. Blake lives in Huntsville with his wife, Brianna, and his daughter, Caroline.

He is currently located at Refine PT and Performance- Decatur, Alabama.
